Made of full-grain leather and hand-stitched, the penny loafer moccasin can be worn all year round.
- The upper part of the shoe is made of unlined leather, the heel is made of molded rubber, and the treated natural leather sole offers resistance, flexibility, and waterproofing.
The Dan moccasins pay tribute to the founders of the Sebago brand.
The Dan moccasin is the most iconic of Penny Loafers, with a history that goes way back, inspired by the very first shoes of humanity, influenced by those of the Native Americans from the state of Maine.
The first moccasins were hand-stitched, using the "beef roll" technique, a small stitch around the front of the foot that is characteristic of moccasins, which are still hand-stitched today by the best craftsmen.
Whether it's President John F. Kennedy, James Dean, or Michael Jackson, they have all contributed to popularizing this moccasin that has become an icon.
